Panel Reed - cutlery specially created for the Titanic's maiden voyage.

100 years since the sinking of the Titanic –
watch this space…

It's hard to believe but in April 2012, it will be 100 years since the tragic sinking of RMS Titanic. To commemorate the date, three major organisations are planning a special collaboration: 20th Century Fox, Royal Crown Derby and Arthur Price (a long-standing Wonderberry client).

So, what can we expect? Well, plans are still being finalised but here's a sneak preview: Arthur Price has recreated the Panel Reed cutlery that was used in First Class accommodation on board. Each knife features the White Star Line's famous logo on its blade, just as they were produced for the maiden voyage.

Dot Dot and Daisy - Youngest to enter the Bradford City Run?

Bradford City Run 2011 – only weeks to go!

We're starting the countdown to the Bradford City Run 2011 which takes place on Sunday 2 October. The ½ Marathon starts in the city centre before making its way through glorious Bronte countryside while the Fun Run – perfect for all ages – will be staged in award-winning Lister Park. Places are filling up quickly, so if you fancy joining in the fun (and the uphill running!), visit www.bradfordcityrun.com for prices, times and how to enter.

Do you know someone who may qualify as the 'youngest' or 'oldest' person to enter the run? Last year's 'Youngest & Oldest' are running again this year, and we'd love to see if we can beat their record (ages 2 and 70 respectively). We've also got 'Dot Dot and Daisy' – the toddler duo who like to keep their parents on their toes.

Topical Time apoints Wonderberry to create new product brochure

Topical Time appoints Wonderberry to create new product brochure

We were recently appointed to create the latest brochure for the UK's leading manufacturer of pocket watches, Topical Time, including brand names such as Jean Pierre and Mount Royal. The company supplies its watches and gift ranges to many high street jewellers, including H Samuel, Ernest Jones and Fraser Hart.

The family-owned watch business was established by current MD, Howard Kaye's grandmother under the name 'Super Clocks and Watches'. The company moved into its premises in Bleeding Heart Yard in 1958, just round the corner from Wonderberry HQ. Howard joined the family business in 1985 and took over as MD in 1992.

FooFitch and Gary Rhodes: a fusion of fine taste

FooFitch is the newly launched luxury dining brand created by Hatton Garden's leading contemporary jeweller, Nicholas James. Its first collection, Arc, has recently come to the attention of well-known restaurateur and chef, Gary Rhodes OBE, a long-time aficionado of Oriental food.

'Arc' defines luxury dining: a pair of slender chopsticks, complementary European-style spoon and fork and two beautiful cutlery rests – all made of sterling silver, silver plate and hand-finished with pave diamonds.   Radley's little leather Scottie dog

Wonderberry's Claims to Fame

Wonderberry has worked for hundreds of clients over the years, some more well known than others. In a new series starting this month, ‘Claims to Fame’ takes a look at a few of the high-profile brands we’ve worked with and how we played our part.

#1 Radley

Radley's little leather Scottie dog dangling from every handbag and stamped on every purse has entranced customers for over a decade (even though he started life as a humble decoration on a price tag).

When our relationship with Radley began in 1998, he wasn't so well known. Nor was Radley, for that matter. We were appointed by Alan Warner, MD and owner of Tula Bags Ltd.
